Matching her curvy crimson number with black court shoes and a black clutch back, the Hollywood A-lister looked like she had stepped straight off the big screen.

With her hair neatly pulled back, Kate added a touch of glitz to her already glamorous ensemble, by wearing delicate jewelled earrings.

Joining her at the event were co-stars Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, and British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor .

John Hillcoat's Triple 9 follows a crew of dirty cops who are blackmailed by the Russian mob leader, Irina Vlaslov, to take part in a complicated heist.

Meanwhile, Kate is hoping to take home the Best Supporting Actress gong at the Oscars, for her work in Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs. 

She recently told Jimmy Kimmel that winning does mean the world to her: "I suddenly do [want to win] a little bit, actually, if I'm honest.

"I think it's natural, isn't it, to want to win one of those great big fabulous prizes?"

The Oscars take place on Sunday, February 28.
